Save your time to get the bitten trek southern ward from Ruteng via Golo Lusang to Iteng and Narang for a vast expanse of beautiful rice terraces and go west to Dintor. Here in Dintor the end road for car or bicycle. This is the start point for you to climbing and hiking, passing through the dense forest to reach the most legendary Wae Rebo Village. From there you’re trekking to Waerebo Village which will take about 3 hours on foot.
Wae Rebo Village is located at an altitude of 1,100 meters above sea level. This traditional village of the Manggaraian tribe offers not only fresh and cool mountain atmosphere but also a beautiful landscape of traditional residential houses with the unique architecture of seven ‘Mbaru Niang’ traditional Manggaraian houses that are still well-maintained up to now. Visiting Wae Rebo is taking you be closer to nature and also the way to know more about the life philosophy and values of the Manggaraian Tribe.
