Bajawa and several surrounding traditional villages such as Bena, Gurusina, Tololela, Maghilewa those lies on the slope of mount Inerie and some other lies inland like Bela and Wogo have cultural heritage that is well preserved by the Ngada tribe. Those original community of Ngada tribe are still consistently keeping their traditional way of life. They are still living in their thatched roof traditional houses and practice their culture in every cycle of their life.
